The Dorcas Ministries was founded in April of 1987 as the Mother Ministry to all services, ministries and fellowships encompassed by SURE Ministries.

The following are functions of The Dorcas Ministries:
- Aid to Foreign Ministries
- Offering Affordable Housing to low-income Families
- Bridging the gap between the church and the community
- Support services that are provided in an effort to uphold and augment local and surrounding outreaches
- S.U.R.E. Ministries, Inc. (Servants: Useful, Reliable and Enlightened)
