Who Are We
A Faith-Based Organization. The Dorcas Ministries was founded in April of 1987 as the Mother Ministry to all services, ministries and fellowships encompassed by SURE Ministries.
Vision
We will provide working low-income single families and individuals with housing in a home-like environment that is drug-free. Our goal is to provide a safe place for families and individuals to live; time to develop personally and as parents through education, and the opportunity to re-evaluate the direction of their lives.
We believe through education and counseling with these individuals and families, they will grow naturally, socially, financially, and spiritually. We believe through education, counseling and housing support, families and individuals will grow in knowledge and be strengthened in basic skills enabling them to maintain their households after they leave the affordable housing program.
Mission
The mission of The Dorcas House is to edify, educate, and facilitate the growth and development of single families and individuals from all walks of life.
